Concrete In-Ground Pools

A Unique Pool in Davidsonville, Maryland
Most pools are built for people but this one is a little different. Kurt and Audrey Reichardt, owners of Dogwood Acres, contracted PoolMax to create a pool for their furry guests. The challenge was to create a pool that was entertaining for multiple dogs of different sizes while keeping maintenance manageable for the caretakers.
We designed and built a bone-shaped concrete pool that features a white pearl Pebble Tec finish. The pool has a specially designed filtration system, slip-resistant surfacing, and four water fountain features. Splashing with friends, bobbing for balls or leaping into the water, the furry clients (and their owners) love this pool!
